Pentia launch Automated Readability Index (ARI) module for Sitecore
The newest module from Pentia’s module department is an Automated Readability Index (ARI) or in Danish "Lix". A powerful editor tool in connection with the Danish quality standard for websites called “Best On The Net”.
In 2008 there were almost no websites that fulfilled the ARI or Lix for Best On The Net. Lix is a readability test designed to gauge the understandability of a text and therefore it makes sense that it is a Best On The Net criteria.
Because the Lix number is part of the Best On The Net criteria Pentia has developed the module for Sitecore CMS. The module is easily installed on Sitecore CMS. This means that Sitecore based websites are able to improve thier possibilities against the competition.This means that Sitecore based websites have the possibility to improve its possibilities against the competition.
For the Editor it is very easy. The Lix number can be checked automatically and/or as required. When the Lix number is automatically checked,it is marked with a red bar beside the text if it is difficult to read.
