Pentia was founded in 1998 by 5 computer scientists from Copenhagen’s university with the goal of developing innovative solutions based on international standards and a deep basic knowledge of core technologies. The company today has 33 employees, where the most are highly educated IT specialists; the majority computer scientists.
Based on the employees comprehensive IT competencies, Pentia deliver software products and specially developed software of a high quality. Pentia’s main focus, as mentioned earlier, is in the content management system Sitecore, where we have over the years delivered more than 150 solutions, to both the public and private market. The solutions stretch from small individual sites to large portals with deep, advanced integration to backend systems, as well as extranets and intranets.
Pentia doesn’t just use Sitecore as a “standard” content management system, but more often as a development platform for different customer specific solutions and applications.

By this we mean that Pentia uses its creative powers to optimize accessibility, information architecture, web policy, usability, graphics, speed, performance and scalability in relation to the customer’s wishes and frameworks.
