Pentia’s business foundation

Project

The project unit is the largest and covers projects such as Internet, Intranets, Extranets, Portals, Integrated solutions, development of customer specific web applications; in short all web related development tasks and projects that typically have in one form or another an integration with other systems.

The project business is the internal part where Pentia bids on external projects and solves them in-house following the customers’ requirements and in cooperation with the same.

Concept

In a case where, either together with a customer or in another connection, a project is created that contains a range of functions that can be conceptualized for use in connection with something else, it is placed in the Concept business. A concept is a project, or a collection of projects, that are so complete that they can almost be reused and implemented for other clients. In this way clients, that can see a value in Pentia’s concepts, are able to benefit from the advantages of utilizing existing functionality that can be implemented in a shorter time frame and typically at a lower price.

A rule of thumb is that a concept site for the customer is approximately 80% finished, while the remaining 20% needs to be modified to meet the customer’s requirements 100%.

Projects developed on Sitecore Intranet Portal and Sitecore Foundry will also be placed in Pentia’s Concept business.

Module

As Pentia focuses solely on solutions based on Sitecore, it is natural that Pentia also has a Module business unit with the sole purpose of developing modules for Sitecore.

Due to Pentia’s familiarity with Sitecore, as well as its history, Pentia is naturally the architect and developer behind many of Sitecore’s modules that today are included within Sitecore’s module portfolio. In relation to this we can name the following; Sitecore Forms, Sitecore Word, Sitecore Staging, Sitecore Ankiro Search as well as the new Sitecore Forum module.
